i’m really into movie making and i want to make it into a career. i’m in high school right now and what will make me become a successful director/producer/scriptwriter?

what college(s)/ universities should i go to for movie making ?

what college classes should i take for movie making/ scripwriting?

what would be the classes in high school that’ll help me in movie making/ scriptwriting?

any tips would be helpful

Take a class at a local community college to see if you truly like it as a career. There should be classes such as “introduction to film” or something similar to that nature. If you want to go to top colleges for the movie industry, then NYU should be one of your top choices. Depending on the classes offered in your school, you should just look for anything that relates to media or movie analysis. Getting into top colleges as a movie major you really need to prove you are very talented. Try interning at a company that produces movies or even try making your own movies. Many colleges require you to send in some of your film work/scripts when you apply.
