So The only thing I’ve used for editing is windows movie maker. But I really love making movies and I want to become really good at vfx. I have enough money to get adobe after effects, but I’m wondering how hard is it to learn that from basically nothing? Or should I just get adobe elements for now? Also how hard is it to get as good as Freddiew or Corridor digital(on YouTube)???

It’s not too hard to learn how to use AE, but watch a lot of tutorials, and even if the tutorials don’t teach you what you want to make they do teach you how to use each tool and you will be prepared when you decide to use them. It takes time to become as good as FreddieW or Corridor Digital, a lot of time, but if you keep at it and work hard and make a lot of videos using a lot of effects and do all the steps you can get there.
