Ok, well i’ve got probly 5 viruses and it sucks because when i bought this computer i did not have anti-virus working because this computer my dad bought for me and it was from a renting place that he works, and i’ve had it for about 1 month, i’ve got pretty much nothing on it atm i tryed doing a form of ‘manual’ re-formatting, buuut it dident really work, i tryed to delete most of the stuff on the computer and see if it helped any, and of corse, it did not. Now i wana know how to fix it?
Note: i use vista and i use mozila firefox its a brand new computer about 4 months old since it was made and it is an ‘Acer’ brand computer.
what is going on:
It is not letting me download stuff on my computer.
it is not letting me open what i do get to download on my computer.
it is giveing me a blue screen and it says something to the effect of ‘Crash disk loading’ or something like that at the bottom of it and then a bunch of other stuff above it
and i cant reformat because i need a password because the ppl at the renting place put a password on it and nobody know’s it we tryed calling them and it did not work because they got rid of the stuff for it after it was sold and gone.
Then it is shutting down at random say i open a java script (Runescape. Jagex LTD) and it shuts off, its not loading youtube so i tryed re-downloading Adobe Flashplayer, it wont let me open it to finish processing the download, and install it.
so i’m 100% lost on what to do, and i know that getting a reformatting disk is an option but is their anything els?
Also please dont reply ‘oh well your dumb because you did not have an anti-virus’ i was going to get 1 within the next week because i made eanough money to buy it. i’m 15 so i cant really make money well eanough -.- so just try to be a lil nice =\
and no my parents do not pay for anything such as anti-virus/spam/mailware/spyware and stuff for their computer so idk why i got the virus, i’m the only one who uses this computer and i dont really use it that much i use it here and their for yahoo,msn,skype,aim,icq and youtube/runescape(lvl 121/130 btw) and sometimes if im really bored WoW but thats really rare lol.
Also, when i google something say i look up ‘dog’ ill click on a link and then itll send me to some random site about yellowbook or some random search site or some random site about porn or something and its reallllllllllly annoying.
anything on that?
i’ve got administrator rights on this account as i said i’m the only one who uses this computer.
