She wanted to make the t-shirts for twilight and other books movies she likes and then sell them but i wasn’t sure she should if it wasn’t legal I’ve seen other people make and sell them but i just want to make sure. Does anyone know?

Has she paid a licensing fee to the copyright owners of the twilight books movies and associated images? No? then it’s copyright infringement and no, it’s not legal. If she makes them for her own enjoyment and gives a few to friends as gifts then it’s legal, but she can’t make and sell them for profit. Places such as Etsy and other crafts-for-sale sites are regularly visited by copyright lawyers and any illegal use of copyrighted material is taken down or the people face huge fines. So in a nutshell: If she’s making things for herself;f and friends, that’s fine, if she’s selling these for profit, not okay.
