Hi guys. I’m Joslyn Davis and you’re tuned in to ClevverTV. Every major retailer across the USA was vying to get customers to buy their extra special version of the New Moon DVD. From including special deleted scenes to including news scenes from the next film in the saga, Eclipse, it seemed as though everyone had something unique to offer. And one of those offerings was a deleted scene that was actually leaked on the internet. It would have come directly after the scene of Bella’s catastrophic 18th birthday party. It shows Bella and Edward driving to her house in her truck talking about the incident and Bella trying smooth things over saying it was nothing – and that things will go back to normal. To which Edward replies that “normal people get paper-cuts.” And that if he were a normal boyfriend, he wouldn’t have to fight the urge to kill her. It’s a pretty powerful scene, and we’re wondering why the filmmakers decided to cut it from the finished product. Why do you guys think this was done? Hit the comments section with your best guess.
