New terminator movies, are they making a good decision or bad (read details)?
Question by markwillstar: New terminator movies, are they making a good decision or bad (read details)?
First time T4 came to light was when T3 was in the works. It was supposed to be made about the same time, and in fact be about a computer that looked a lot more like WOPR from Wargames then a virus as it turned out.
Then as T4 finally was being made, it was said that there would be no terminators, but recently ive heard terminators are in it even though its supposed to be set before Skynet creates them.
There is supposed to be 3 new movies in all, and Arnold has said he will probably at least cameo if not actually star, in at least one of the last 2.
So, my question is, based on these facts, which way was the right way to go?

Terminator 4 is set years after Judgment Day, when humans are at war with Skynet. There are early model Terminators, but the origin of the T-800 model will be shown in the movie.
I think it is the way to go, as revisiting the time travel plot would just be rehashing the past films.
