I want to make youtube videos for my friends and family to see and my windows movie maker will only take wmv files and all my videos are saved as avi files. If any one can tell me how to fix my movie maker, suggest another program of some sort or tell my anything that might help please let me know.

hmm…you’ll have to convert your videos. there are plenty of video converters you can google search and download on the web. They’ll switch your clips into .wmv files
I use the “Any Video Converter”

after downloading a free trial, you can easily convert & save your videos to .wmv files
otherwise, you could try sony vegas pro’s free trial

(but it looks a little more complicated to me)
