Q&A: Can creating video tutorials be profitable?
Question by JB: Can creating video tutorials be profitable?
In high school, I took a class that teaches students how to make quality movies using Adobe Premiere and After Effects. So with time, I can make a quality video. I am also very computer literate. Do you think if I made video tutorials for the new users looking to learn different types of software would be profitable? Some different examples of software I can teach is Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, General Computers (for those that have never used a computer before), Browsing the internet, etc. I am looking into ways I can create a business online. I am somewhat decent at HTML and am majoring currently in Graphic Design so building a website will be no problem. Also I would use E-bay to sell and Youtube for demos of my products. I need all the suggestions I can get. I would have to buy a headset and high quality webcam, and for onscreen I’d probably use fraps, or something of the like. Premiere to edit the video and AE to do special effects. Thanks.
