I am so glad that Russell Brand has buggared off to the Kindergarten Colony – his humour (for want of a better and more accurate word) is about their level over there – apparently his run away over their to makes some movies – one can only cringe at what drivel he will end up producing over there with those blithering idiots – Americans and Russell Brand – the expression ”two peas in a pod” springs to mind.
But back to the whole 30,000 complaints haranguing match over the rude message left on ‘Manuel’s’ answerphone machine – surely it was not that Brand made his accusation along with Ross immaturely laughing in the background about sleeping with Andrew Sach’s granddaughter that was the problem, but that they invaded this man’s privacy and that it really wouldn’t matter who privacy they invaded – the fact they had done so was where they crossed the line. I think it was entirely right that Lesley Douglas resigned – the buck has to stop with someone. Does anyone agree with me that this suspension without pay of Jonathan Ross is a bit over the top though and really he should be allowed to get on with his work on the BBC as soon as possible. Fine him yes – but the suspension – surely they’re cutting of their noses to spite they faces by doing that. The BBC put the film ‘Speed’ on instead of allowing his excellent show ‘Friday Night with Jonathan Ross to go ahead this – couldn’t they think of anything better to replace this slot than some hollywood blockbuster – surely this just goes to prove that the people that control the ‘beeb’ have absolutely no imagination whatsoever and should leave comedy to the likes of Jonathan Ross who know what they’re doing?
And another thing, no one as far as I’m aware have made the point that Fawlty Towers was a controversial show – this episode http://www.fawltysite.net/episode10.htm in particular got itself in all kinds of trouble at the time – IN COMEDY THERE ALWAYS HAS TO BE A VICTIM – and I felt Mr. Sach’s granddaughter Georgina Baillie has made a big fuss about it as well – if she had had any intelligence she would have come back with a dry comment like ‘he wishes he had’ instead of all the moaning she has been making about them being sacked – I mean look at her http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1081414/Georgina-Baillie-Im-thrilled-Brand-Ross-suspended-way-treated-grandfather.html – she’s what would commonly be known a ‘hot piece of totty’ – and if she had any brains would only be offended for her grandfathers invasion of privacy – she should be actually flattered to be honest. Mind you I’m quite sure she wouldn’t have wanted to go near the talentless Russell Brand with a barge pole – who, well just look at him http://www.nowmagazine.co.uk/imageBank/cache/r/Russell-Brand.jpg looks like something the cat dragged in – he has nasty cruel eyes and I’m sure a very dark mind – for example I remember watching him for a short period until I got bored with him – as he’s just not funny – when he was on Amnesty’s Secret Policeman’s Ball 2006 show http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=GxP01GNXTik&feature=channel – does anyone in their right use as part of a standup comedy routine Ian Huntley the monster responsible for the Soham child murders even if it was too say he was disgusted by him – like leaving a rude message about his granddaugher on the answerphone of a multi-talented and much loved old actors whilst broadcasting to the nation it’s just crude and not funny and he’s just showing that he’s really nothing more than a twisted, frustrated pervert. What this idiot was actually saying was that he WANTED TO HAVE SEX WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AND HE WAS JEALOUS OF ANDREW SACH’S FAME – wouldn’t you say that is where the real truth lies?
