I want to edit some film to make it look like a 1920s silent movie. Do most video editing programs have this, especially the Pinnacle softwares?

Well you could just put the content into Windows movie maker, from there you can change the volume to mute. To do this, put your content into the reel and scroll down the reel. Right click on the sound and select “Change Volume” or sumthing like that. Hope I could help.
