Question by Master Kai: Do you guys like my movie idea “Kai and the Leopard Warriors”?
My dream was to make a movie after I saw Kung Fu Panda..alright, so.

Im trying to make it not copy kung fu panda, but its about a snow leopard named kai. she has a little sister named mai and her dad zhong lung is a evil cruel guy, he’s mad at his wife for being so proud of kai of training in sword fighting. so..well..he murders her in the begginging, he burns the house down and kai and mai watch when they were really little, so they had to run and hide before he finds them. and kai finds a place to learn sword techniques and MABYE a bit of martial arts, she finds a gang of friends that she met in this palace and they are suppose to take him down, but i dont know if there should be a sequel

I want to improve it, anyone have any ideas? I might make it into a story first, and also Kai is 17.

It doesn’t have to be chinese, it would be on a planet where it is all traditional, but they don’t do Kung Fu It’s Sword Fighting

I really hate to say this but i do not think anyone would watch it, you would be surprised how many movie ideas are shot down each day, people handing out scripts at the car wash, in a taxi, driving celebs around town as part of a limousine driving job, at restaurants, Most if not all of them either get shot down or even worse get laughed at. I am not trying to hurt your feelings but some dreams are better of as just that, Dreams! No matter how good it may seem to you, just remember this. You can be both your best critic and your worst. Because you took the time to make it and you put allot of energy into it, you are going to give it the best rating ever and as far as you will be concerned it will be a masterpiece, however most people will look at it and say, “I directed a movie like that before” Or “It is way too similar in design to kung fu panda”

Unfortunately your idea is or has already been used in tons of other movies, such as karate kid, a ton of other movies i have not really seen. Honestly, i think it could have potential, but as i said it needs a serious re-write and if i were you i would really think better on the names, i am only 1 person who does not happen to be in the business. What i am telling you is based upon what other people i know have went thru and some i don’t know. I do wish you the best of luck though but i do not have much faith in it, its a very competitive business.
