Question by ASK HIM (Awesome Edition): Do you know which wrestlers follow scripts to the letter during Promos, and who just wings it?
For instance, Edge has said before that he HATES fully scripted Promos, as it makes him sound robotic. So he comes up with a faint idea of what kind of things to say and just wings it. Others like Chris Jericho, are sold what to talk about in general, and then build write their own Promo around it. Whilst some wrestlers words are scripted by the writers 100%. So I’m asking…

1. Do you know what wrestlers fit into each of these catorgories?
2. If you were a wrestler, what style would you choose.

I think John Cena honestly wings it.He is really good with promos,whether you like him or not.He has never sounded rehearsed from all the times I’ve seen him on the mic..and even if he does wing it he is pretty good at it,I’ll say.I can’t really think of any other superstars that possibly follow scripts at the moment,but for the divas I will say that Kelly Kelly just sounds bland,rehearsed..the whole nine yards.She doesn’t know how to stop thinking and just react.When the writers give her something to go with,she can’t do it well and it’s just dead give away.

If I was a wrestler,I’d go for winging it.I’ve seen how wrestlers can get reactions from fans,face or heel..and I have confidence that I can wing it and sound natural if I was on the mic.
