i am a HUGE fan of the v.a books and after twilight i thought that i wud never like a book more but v.a series is TONS better so i was just thinking after watching the new moon trailer(again) do u think they wud make a movie or is it not popular enough??
and ps does anyone no of any v.a forums??coz i im just dying for blood promise to come out and i need to talk about it and c other peoples opinions on it!!

Hmm well, I don’t think there will be a movie for a while. Richelle Mead gets asked this question all the time, so she’d likely let her fans know if there was a movie in the works. First she needs to be approached by a production company that wants to option the film rights. One of her other series has been bought by FoxTV.

I think eventually someone might want to make a movie on it. I’m still sort of half and half on this though, because I don’t want them to screw up the story or the characters, but at the same time I think it’d make a badass movie if it was done correctly and if Richelle Mead could give her insight into the project. Those are the best movie adaptations, when the creator of the book or game or whatever is able to give a lot of input. Also if the cast is mostly unknown actors.
As for forums, Richelle Mead has a yahoo group where a lot of people discuss her books (Georgina Kincaid, Dark Swan, and VA series).

There are more people joining the Shadow Bite forum for VA. There’s a few discussions going on over there about the books, potential movie, characters, etc. I’m over there too. 🙂
