Q&A: How can I stay committed to making home movies?
Question by anonymoose: How can I stay committed to making home movies?
Recently, I have been excited to document more of my life through home movies. I want to be able to enjoy certain moments in the future and possibly show them to my children some day. What is the best way to stay into creating these home videos of my life and how should I store them. Should I fill a DVD or make 1 per season (4 per year) or even try a different method. I want my clips to be organized, yet remain as raw as possible. I want to store them creatively and in a way that I will want to keep creating.

Hope this helps you! I convert my DVD’s from 4.7GB to 700mb AVI xivd, it’s high quality play for avi & can be convert back to DVD format by using Nero mostly with the same quality. I mostly use Nero & love it, you might like something else but it will work.
isofter is one software that does divx or xivd format from DVD’s or from video files to convert.
I use a 3TB iomega external drive to store all my videos & I hold a lot of videos.
There’s tons more in how to help you but I hope this gives you an idea or someone can give you better ideas. I wish you the best luck.
