I’m looking to become a movie/tv extra. I have of course googled it, but all i’m finding are websites asking for fees. I’m originally from Los Angeles and have lots of friends who are extras and as far as i know none of them have had to pay for anything except head shots which were optional. If anyone could turn me on to a company or website that is legitamite i would really appreciate it. I’m not looking to be a model or actress i’d just like a fun way to make a little extra money.

go down to your city government offices. if anyone is filming in the city, they have to have a permit.
you can find out from the city who is doing what and when and where it is. or there is probably
an extras casting service somewhere in atlanta. you will need a head shot. that’s how they
will be able to tell who you are and see what you look like. your probably not going to find
a free casting service. you know jobs are going to be few and far between.
