Question by Syn Lia: How do I change a file to a Windows Movie Maker file ?
I sent a video from my phone (voyager) and I’m trying to make a video in Windows Movie Maker, and it says it can’t use this file. How would I be able to change the file so I can use it ?

You need a video converter to change the file you imported from your phone.
Go online and Google: free video converters. You will have many choices for free converter downloads. But, be careful because some of them are only Trial offers (limited time usage). I use Koyote Soft Video Converter myself, but that’s just my opinion.
Once you have the video converter, use it’s browse feature to locate the file you want to convert. Convert it to one of the following file name extensions that WMM (Windows Movie Maker) uses:
.asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv
I use .mpg, .mpeg or .wmv for importation to WMM, but any of the extensions listed above will work in the program. Once you have converted the file, you will be able to import it in WMM.
