Question by jason: How do I protect myself from being hacked?
I found out risk of limwire (downloading program) hard way. I downloaded some games and installed it. But there wasn’t any game. Instead corrupted java script jumps out and turn off all my games, movies, and works every once in a while. So I deleted limewire, but it wouldn’t let me. So I forcefully deleted out of disk. But problems are keep getting worse. My ebay ID was stolen. It made my ID sell bunch of random stuff I don’t even own. Also I noticed my main hard disk space was increasing very slowly. I noticed some of my movie file were gone. I have getten over 400 fake emails saying that I have perchased some stuff from online paypal, which scared me at first. Do I have any choice other than to clean out the hard disk? Is this from hacking or program? What others things can they do?

Yep, you’ve been hacked…by your own hand.
The best and safest thing you can do right now is nuke your disk partition with the Windows OS installer and start over.
After you get that reinstalled, download ALL the MS critical updates…they close up some big holes in the program hackers exploit. Also, get a software or preferably a hardware firewall. I like the Linksys Routers…cheap and effective. Finally, quit downloading and opening crap like you did. Playing with that stuff is like playing with a loaded gun…but I guess you found that out the hard way.
