Q&A: How do they get actors to appear sweaty in movie scenes?

Question by douglasmilligan: How do they get actors to appear sweaty in movie scenes?
I am wondering what the technique is. I can’t believe that it is real sweat because that is 1)pretty gross, and 2)it seems like there must be an easier, more efficient way to make an actor appear sweaty than actually getting him to sweat. How do movie makers do this?
