Question by GEO net Correspondent: How to sell ads on your own website without 3rd parties?
Hello, I am looking to sell ads on my website directly to advertisers. I really need some sort of script that will allow me to sell ads by CPM and CPC at prices I set based on the ad type (Travel, Food, Service, Ect.). I want to be able to approve the ads before they go on my site and I need the payment for the ads to be automatic (Threw paypal or credit cards) so I don’t have to worry about it. If theres anything that you know thats can do what I need, please mention it. Thank you.
This is something that I need to do, regardless of the lack of advertising dollar that could come in. It is more for me to gain experience with programming than anything. Plus I am trying to do something like this for a NonProfit Organization and I just figured people here could help me out.

That’s not very effective, and would be unlikely to draw a lot of advertisers.
You may as well use adwords/adsense for that purpose, google likely has a far Superior system in place, then any you would be likely to find.
I recommend that you simply place an “Your Ad Here?” link, which allows advertisers to send/submit the required details through a form, or through normal email.
There is nothing wrong with your idea, it just isn’t practical, nor effective. I would also much rather have a fixed payment/month, and avoid the potential problem with click fraud. It would also protect your advertisers.
