First, you should get it copyrighted. Costs about $ 30-$ 40, but totally worth it. Then, you need to perfect it, and have other people read it and get some input. If you’re getting a rough draft copyrighted, register it with the WGA; then, when you have a final draft, register it with the US Copyright Office (assuming you live in the United States).
Once you have a final product, you need to write more. You can’t just sell your first screenplay; you need a few more samples under you belt, roughly four. Then, you get an agent who forwards your work to producers.
