Hey everyone,

Below is the question I asked 3 days ago:

I’m in college and I meet this girl I really like in tennis practice. We played some doubles for the next week, and flirted around a little bit, then I invited her to a small party. By the end of the night I started making out with her, and then she started asking some questions that I wasn’t expecting.

“I don’t want to be another booty call”
“what do you like about me?”
“I don’t think I’m your type”
“I feel like your only after my body”

I responded with the basics “I really like your eyes, your smile, your personality, you’re definitely my type”, she responded “how can I trust you, I hardly know you”, me “you’ll just have to take my word, I’m not trying to sleep with u, I’m just trying to get closer to you”… and then she went back to the “I don’t think I’m your type” statement. (by the way, my desire is to have a relationship with her, not ‘hit and quit it’)

I took some of the advise I got and this is what happened the day after:

I apologized for coming on too strong, she said “oh don’t worry bout it you were fine” then I invited her for a movie in the afternoon, after that we went to eat at applebees, everything was going well. Then we went back to my place and started watching a stand up comedian on my computer, next thing we’re making out.

Here’s were things got complicated:

Everything was going fine until I started taking off her pants (shirt was already off), she said that she feel’s like shit about this because she’s not ‘that’ type, and asked me these questions:

What are your intentions with me?
What do you like about me?
I don’t want to do this just because ‘we’re here’ (in my bedroom)

I responded with the basics and told her that I would like a relationship possibly, because I like her… she said that she just got out of a 3 year relationship and doesn’t want to lead me on, and she wants to be friends… although, directly after that, she made out with me for another 5 mins, then said that she should go, so I walked her home and kissed her bye.

Overall I feel like she likes me partially, but there’s something that I must be doing wrong, I won’t give up cause I really like her. Suggestions on how I can win her heart, WITHOUT going into the ‘friend zone’? -thanks in advance

Sounds like she’s confused about what she wants from you.

Maybe you should ask her the questions.
What does she want in a relationship?
What are her intentions toward you?
Is she serious about the relationship?

Second thoughts are, How long have you known this girl?
Maybe you should date her a while and figure her out before you jump in bed with her.
