Why do movies look smooth, even low budget while my home made movies look like a rookie. Camera shaking, color is of. anyway, how can I make my home movies look like real film when played back using something from adobe? Like Premier? Any settings that i can change to make it look more like a movie?

The quality of camera used. Most camcorders that you can purchase at Circuit City and Best Buy only have a 2CCD pickup chip. This means in most basic terms that it uses two colors to create all colors. A professional grade camera at its bare minimum will have a 3CCD chip to creat color. Add to that that they use a much higher quality film stock, lighting source and boom mics… well you get the idea.
To make your home videos look more like film and television… upgrade your camera. Sorry, in electronics like most things you are only as strong as your weakest link. You can run the picture through filtering software to clean it up but you won’t be able to make it perfect.
