Q&A: Professional camera work/production?

Question by Asd A: Professional camera work/production?
Hey, I’m entering a competition for production, in which they give you a topic and you’re supposed to make a 30sec commercial on. Any tips on making it look professional? I’m working with a GL camera and I don’t know how to say this but i want the quality to look movie like, making it nice and bright (using portable lighting) and having that sort of fuzzy feeling to it, any tips? Can i use adobe after effects to improve it? thanks!
