Q&A: Using Windows Movie Maker, trying to delete SOUND from video clips?
Question by Robin Morningstar: Using Windows Movie Maker, trying to delete SOUND from video clips?
Merry Christmas!!! Hey all…I’m using Windows Movie Maker for the first time, and I’m trying to pull clips off of Youtube to include in the vids I’m making, but I’ve layered music behind already and I need to get rid of the sound that is on the video clips I’m downloading. Could someone PLEASE tell me how to do this. If there is something I need to download in order to do so, no problem (so long as it’s freeware). Hey, thank you all so much, and have a wonderful Christmas. HOHOHO!
Thanks guys! I’ll have to pick a best answer, but I appreciate them all. Merry Christmas!

Click on the clip in the timeline and go to Clip (in the menu at the top of the screen) > Audio > Mute.
