Q&A: What is a good inexpensive movie editer?
Question by dolphingirl0602: What is a good inexpensive movie editer?
Ok, so me and some of my friends are doing some movies we randomly came up with and i would like to know if there is a good movie editer. I am currently using windows movie maker but i would like something a little nicer that isn’t to inexpensive or i can download. I don’t want anything that’s top of the line of anything but i would like a program that would make the movies look a little more professional.

First of all, you aren’t looking for a movie editor. That’s someone who would edit the movie for you. You’re referring to a movie editing software program.
Second, the software program is only part of the equation. If you want better picture quality, that means you need a better camera, not better software. Unless you’re adding effects, the outcome of the film will look no different depending on what software you use.
From the sound of it, you are just cutting clips and putting them together, which means Windows Movie Maker is all you need. By “looking more professional”, you seem to be looking for a smoother outcome, or better quality, which is something no movie editing software is guaranteed to help you with.
Have any more questions? By all means, ask.
If you honestly think it’ll help you that much, a couple good, inexpensive software programs for Windows are:
AVS Video Editor for $ 59.95 (http://avs-video-editor.kooksoft.com/),
or,
Movavi Video Editor $ 39.95 (http://www.movavi.com/videoeditor/).
Other then that, you’re unlikely of ever finding a very good editing program for less than $ 100.
