Hi what is the best movie editing software for my mom? She’s always on facebook and just wants to make quick edits of movies she takes with her flip HD, and she is planning to get a nicer camera this year (DSLR)… what is a great software that she can use that is also professional that she can grow with, like industry standard. I don’t want her to have to learn something new again if something else comes out but at the same time I want it easy and intuitive to work with. She is using a Dell Windows 7 PC… its just a simple PC. Please help. This will be for mother’s day! Thanks! 🙂

Sony Vegas pro hd or any other Sony Vegas hd editing software is Great and quite simple. It doesn’t have the friendly look of windows movie maker but that’s because they squeeze so many different settings and options and effects into it. You can download the free versions (demos) and see which one your mum likes then get one for her 🙂
