Question by Klay wit a K: What is the best Video Camera for making movies? that is under ,000?
I’ve been looking at the Canon XL2 and the Panasonic DVX100 series.

Any ideas?
I’m a digital media production(film) student at the Art institute of Pittsburgh. I’ve read up on both cameras on CNET.com and the XL2 got a 7.9 and the Panasonic DVX100b got a 8.4. I’ve seen videos done with both and I’m impressed with both.

problems, xl2 doesnt ahve auto focus, its way important, but if i were you just lookat sony
