Q&A: What kind of music program can delete only one wave of a song?

Question by John Deere: What kind of music program can delete only one wave of a song?
I have a song that I want to delete a wave of it. I mean I want to delete a beat from it to make it sound better. Nero Wave Editor doesnt do it and so doesnt Movie Maker. Anyone know a program like that?

This one http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ will do it and is pretty cool cuz you can do some effects to the songs too! Adobe makes one called Sound Booth too.
