Q&A: What’s the difference between Digital Projection (DP) and regular movie?
Question by Tay: What’s the difference between Digital Projection (DP) and regular movie?
I’m going to get tickets for Harry Potter, and it’s giving me two options. I can choose to see it as DP or what seems to be a regular theater movie version. The time I want to go is 9:40 and thats on the DP choice. Can someone please tell me what the difference is so I don’t make a mistake in my purchase? Thank you so much!

DP doesn’t use film, but rather a computer file. This means that no matter how many times they show it, the image quality doesn’t degrade as it does with film.
