I am a recent (non-traditional) graduate from a state university with a BA in Communication. I am in sort of a mid-life crisis… to use the term loosely. I have lived in the same state my entire life and haven’t traveled much. I had quit a $ 60,000 union factory job to finish my degree and pursue my interests: movie making, writing, music, creating. However, I have found it very difficult to find sustainable work in my field of interest where I live, also I find myself owing on student loans and other obligations. I would very much like to find an unusual opportunity at which I could apply my varied life experience and education, with the opportunity to make good money. I would like to find something that would not be typically advertised in the want ads, something unusual or unique, requiring a unique individual and/or unusual circumstances… or, I would like to learn of things that people can/do to earn an unusually good wage while seeing other parts of the world. Alternatively, I would like to learn where to find “insider” opportunities here in the US (one of the few of such opportunities I know of includes hazardous jobs in Iraq, I would prefer ideas where there is slightly less of the treat of being be-headed:).
