Who is credited at the beginning of a movie? Is there a particular format that should be followed?
I am making an Independent Film, but I do not know who I am supposed to credit in the opening title sequence. Can someone please help?

Depends on the director & any contract agreements with actors, etc. Some movies don’t even show their title at the beginning, they just jump right in. And I’ve seen movies with everything up front and no credits at the end. Some directors seem to always do credits certain ways, while others change methods depending upon the movie. Some of the decision is artistic preference for the director. Though I’m certain whether or not an actor or actress is listed in incomplete opening credits has much to do with their perceived “draw” and / or contractual obligations, such as “if opening credits display actor names I must be listed”… etc
