Question by : Why are most movies made on film?
From what i understand is that a LOT of a movie’s budget goes on the film and getting it processed, so why don’t film makers make their movies on digital film cameras? like the ‘RED’ film camera

A lot of movies use digital methods. I think it has to do with keeping things old school. Typically with digital projections, the picture looks fake, or the movie makers edit it so much that it looks completely CGI, take Avatar for example. Film, has a less quality picture, so why people still use it it is beyond me. Heres a good article.
