Every video I put into WMM gets smaller than its original size and there’s a black box around the video. how do I make the video stay its original size?

I’m not sure if that helps but you can try it:
– Open WMM and select the “View” tab
– Search the “Aspect ratio” button (it’s the last one)
– Choose “widescreen”
But as I said I’m not exactly sure if this is the solution.
