Question by x2pttrclue32: Will I get in trouble for downloading off file upload sites?
So my friend on the east coast is in to making movies and has been sending them to me to watch lately. He uploads them onto megaupload, mediafire, or similar. I’m not sure the average size of the movies, but they are substantial.

Now, my university has gotten students in trouble for download music and movies off peer-to-peer sites like Limewire and stuff, and I never use those. But are sites like megaupload something they can detect/get me into a lot of trouble for?

i’m sure if your using there internet service, they can detect you. however the sites you mentioned are storage sites
