Question by ashley: would there be another movie installment of Anne Rice’s Vampire chronicles?
i hope there is.. i just started to read all her vampire chronicles..i think she’s amazing..hope producers would make a movie out of it, with new characters of course

There were 2 movies made, “Interview with a Vampire” and “Queen of the Damned”. The 2nd one did not do very well at the box office.

So it’s doubtful – and Anne Rice is only writing “for the Lord” now, so she may not approve of another film based on her vampire books.

I guess it depends on what kind of contract there is for the sequel rights – the movie studio may not need the author’s permission to produce a sequel. If the “Twilight” movies keep doing well, and some studio is desperate enough, they might make another film.
