I just started working with a new company and part of the job requires cold calling. This is a small part of the job but still something I hate doing, as do most salespeople. The product we’re selling is VoIP to small to medium sized business’ locally. I need a short opening script to catch the decision makers attention. Hopefully someone can give me some advice on this. Also, some ideas on mailers would be good. From what Ive read warm-up mailers with a letter and brochure are great before the actual cold call. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
One thing I wanted to add. Our solution isnt always cheaper than their current phone system. We host the entire system, PBX and all so theres nothing they have to purchase up front. So, to say to them we can save them money isnt always the case but the technology is far superior and has many more advantages than a traditional phone system.
