After hiding away on a ship to avoid his problems with the mafia, Tom Jordache tries to keep a low profile onboard a merchant navy vessel, not wanting anyone to know he is a professional boxer on the run. But when the ships bully, Falconetti continuously antagonises Tom and his black friend Roy Dwyer, Tom’s patience is tested. When Falconetti inflicts a sick and disgusting attack on Roy, Tom finally snaps, and challenges Falconetti to a one on one fist fight in cargo hold 1.
