Question by Beautiful Dreamer: Screenwriter needs help getting agent!!?
I have a script that I would love to sell. (Of course, who doesn’t?) I know getting an agent would be the best option, although I am afraid the agents will not read my work. I have been rejected several times just by the synopsis and cover letter. I think the story is great, but most agents haven’t asked to read it over. (I had a few ask for 20 pages, but still rejected the idea.) Are there any tips or tools that can help my work and me appear well rounded and professional?

My greatest advice from my professor at film school was that you don’t need an agent, i pitched my script myself and was giving $ 2,000 to shoot my horror/comedy to potentially be released in Sundance next year… I don’t even have an agent, but i got a film crew and a cast just by pitching the script myself.
