Sherry Kim’s first techno song :D

HAhahahahaa soooo….. this is a little fun video for you guys. I’m just curious to see how you guys would respond to this actually lol. I’m in a class at Northwestern this quarter called Intro to Music Technology. In the beginning we worked with programs like GarageBand, and then we eventually moved onto arguably the best music making software, Logic Pro 9. Our first assignment is to create our own song using only the midi files on Logic 9. And knowing that one of my most favorite genres to listen to is techno and trance music… I ended up making one myself! 😀 This was my first attempt at making a techno song… so yeah, I’m aware that it sounds choppy and the structure of the song is a little bit messy… but hopefully throughout the quarter I will get better. 🙂 ALSO! If you notice my little Wedding Dress reference in the middle of the song…….. don’t ask. LOL. The song was stuck in my head all weekend unfortunately and I kind of just let it out… on this assignment haha. Totally random, but when I realized the melody of Wedding Dress fit with my chord progression, I said OK, this will work for now. LOL. I will be turning this into my professor on Tuesday. Hopefully I’ll get an A on this…. XD ENJOY!
