Sims 2 movie making help??

i really want to make my own series for the sims 2 but i am not sure how….i kno you have to use the little yellow video at the bottom of the screen but what do you do after that? also, when i tried making the video quality high, it made my game REALLY SLOW.
here’s some more QAs
1. do you set the time of the video to however long you want it to be? like 10 min?
2. what do you do after you’ve video captured?
3. i heard sony vegas is really good, but can you just download it for free?
4. how do you edit your movie using windows, sony vegas or any other movie editor?

i make sims movies all of the time. It makes my computer go slow when i video tape them as well. There isn’t anything you can do about that if you want good quality.

Once you’ve captured a scene, it will be archived somewhere on your computer. Mine turns up in a folder “EA games” and then in “Sims 2” and then in “movies”.

Once you have your scenes and wnat to edit and make a movie out of them, download “Windows movie maker” It’s completely free. I got it a couple years ago and have never regretted it. There you go to “import” then “videos” and then you find the folder that the sims scenes are archived on your computer and import them onto movie maker. There you can do all sorts of neat stuff to make a movie. You can even add your own dialog.
