Software to use making 3D movies?

Question by Maxias: Software to use making 3D movies?
I would like to create 3D movies but don’t know what type of software to use.
I have tried Maya and 3Dsmax but they are way out of my league. I am no professional and these software are too hard to use.
I also tried IClone, It was difficult in the beginning but got the hang of it, the problem with IClone is that you cannot create clothing or air for your characters. I wanna try something new… any suggestions where to start?
Here is a list of what i would like:
1. Has to be easy to use (or have alot of tutorials to guide me and help me using the program)
2. Importing from google scetchup could be usefull as i am using it to create props & environments.
3. Now the graphics does not have to look like Maya but I would like something nice such as Iclone. or a bit less.

Please help me out. I also heard that you can create movies with game engines such as Torque 3D… if you know of sites such as these they will help just as much.

this maybe more than you need or want but have you tried Blender?
