Does anyone else notice that even though the two brothers had already planned the whole thing, which was that they would let the angels and the demons fight each other without their interruption, Dean still goes on ahead and saves the angel Castiel? They have already said that Mothra and Godzilla should just fight and that they should just watch it from the pulpits. But by some reason (a lot of people are already hypothesizing homo-erotic reasons here) Dean just couldn’t help himself; he had to save his angel (how very sweet).
In any case, I personally opine that Dean would have saved Cas in any event. Even if he did not know that Castiel was trying to stay away from Dean because he was his “weakness”. When Dean found this out, his opinion of Cas was
