Starting in the Television biz?
Question by Joe K: Starting in the Television biz?
So, I realize starting or selling a tv show idea is like winning the lotto three days in a row. I have a documented idea and how i want the layout to be, not a full script yet. I dont even know where to start to see if the idea is feasable in the least, just seeing if someone could point me in a direction.

You will need to first research your idea, just to make sure that it is not already taken. You will also need to copyright it if it is not taken, and i think that the local chamber of commerce can help you on that,or at the very least,it is a start.I don’t know if you have the money that it takes to do this and get it off and running ,but if not, try to get a government grant, you don’t have to pay that back. There are programs out there that write the grants for you,all you have to do is join them for under fifty bucks a month and you will get the grant that you want.I can give you some sites,to start with, just e-mail me.I would get a prepaid visa card, before buying into anything online.I hope that this helps at least a little bit. Please let me know if this is helpful or not.Remember not to pay anyone a lot of money for your ideas, for if you have to pay them, then they plan to rip you off,so please be careful, but that statement has nothing to do with paying and getting something out of it,it is when you don’t get anything out of it,that it is a rip off.Good luck and best wishes.
