Terminator Time Travel?
Question by : Terminator Time Travel?
I noticed that in the first terminator movie, Reese says that only organic material can time travel, and the terminator (T-101 model) could travel because he was covered in organic material. The T-1000 from the second movie is made of liquid metal and the T-X in the third movie is made of metal covered in liquid metal. How do these two time travel? In the first movie, Reese says that the time machine was destroyed, so a new one would have had to be built for the next two terminators, or they would have to have been sent beforehand. A new machine makes more sence because they come through in bubbles, while the first one comes through with just a flash of lightning. They could have perfected the time travel technology so that they could send inorganic material through, but then why do the terminators still arrive naked? and why dont they take some cool guns through with them? Also, I’d like to point out that to send the next two terminators through, the humans would have to capture the time machines every time the robots send a Terminator through…
Is this addressed in Terminator: Salvation?
Also, i noticed that for computers, the terminators have remakably bad accuracy. Maybe the creators were really bad at matt. This is probably because if they had perfect accuracy, the movies would be really short and depressing.

Good observation. None of these questions are answered in salvation. guess we’ll have to wait for part 5
