Terrence Malick epic wins Palme d’Or in Cannes
U.S. director Terrence Malick won the Palme d’Or for best picture at the Cannes film festival Sunday for “The Tree of Life,” a meditative, metaphysical epic starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn.
