Houston, Texas is a very busy large city (4th largest in the United States), so renovation is always in progress in one way or another around here. Whether it is the changing of the movie title on a sign or building a new freeway through some part of the city, you can always find something changing.

Weingarten Realty Investors, which owns the shopping center, has reportedly notified tenants that it plans to demolish the River Oaks Theater to make way for a bookstore and high-rise residential buildings.

Help save this Houston landmark.
