The Great Debate. PC vs Mac?
Question by MB3019: The Great Debate. PC vs Mac?
Alright, the question that has been asked probably thousands of times already. However before I begin, let me just note that I have searched and researched but am still unsure.
I am trying to decide on a new Macbook or a PC Laptop. However I can not decide which one to choose.
My computing habits are as follows,
* I enjoy videogames, games such as The Sims (I plan to purchase the sims 3), Call of Duty, SimCity… I did not enjoy WoW.
* I browse the web alot and would like a laptop that connects to wireless internet and wired internet as I do travel Alto.
* I have thousands of pictures and would like to try editing photos.
* I have hundreds of items on my itunes account, and enjoy music, movies and apps. I do own a iPod Touch 2nd Gen.
* I would like a computer that is easy to use without many problems, and have movie making software.
* I would like a good looking laptop (apple is very nice looking however that is not enough to sell me).
I am interested in purchasing an MacBook Pro (or a MacBook I am not sure yet). Or a Dell XPS laptop.
I understand that people love Mac’s and theres people who hate PC but I honestly do not hate PC that much, however it has caused many great problems but how am I supposed to compare if I never owned a mac.
Since I play games alot, I am concerned about the fact that the majority of videogames are not Mac compatible even if they are converted with BootCamp. Also Macbooks are more expensive.
Which computer is best for me? Please do not give me the “PC Sucks” comments without any further explanation as to why. The reason for that being that of all the websites I researched and all the friends I asked, they could never provide any information as to why they believe PC’s suck compared to Macs.
Thank You,
I forgot to mention that I have owned a PC for over 11 years now, and its not that I hate it, but it has caused many problems and I do enjoy how Mac’s look, however I guess ill search for a good looking gaming PC.

All depends on which one you like better, and are more comfortable using
Strictly speaking from a hardware perspective, you get much better performance for the $ with a PC. I owned an iBook before but I prefer PCs much more now
