well many times while playing the sims 2, when i click on the video capture button to start recording everything goes black like if i was recording in neighborhood view all the cars driving along would go black and so would all the lots, then i would have to quit the game then reopen it to get everything back to normal. Also my vidoe quality of the videos ive recorded come out really LOW quality and I don’t know why because my game is crystal clear.

sounds like your machine isn’t up to the graphics demand of the game. check you’re meeting the system requirements and see if you can upgrade your system to cope with the demand.
