does anyone knows which softwares used in the transformers?
where can I learn that kind of movies making?
and where can I study programming and design side to side in the same time? is that possible?
does anyone knows where there is a good university, school or center to study CGI?

I can answer the first question – ILM used some of their own custom software (Zeno particle system?), along with Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Mental Ray, RenderMan, and Shake.
