I like to make movies but i don’t know how to make a set or background for real cheap. Please help.

Use a location – it is cheaper if you get the location for free.

Eg – a restaurant over a set. They have all the props needed. Many places are keen to help out and perhaps after hours can work for them. Sound can be a problem on location, so be prepared to do ADR, but I have to say on location is always cheapest for me.

I also think if you have an idea of your shots this can really help your set designer know what they have to have to dress the scene. No point set dressing an entire restaurant if only a tiny part is in shot.
